The loss of cultural and utilitarian sovereignty in the use of ceramics, exacerbated by armed conflict, urbanization and globalization, threatens to erase these rich traditions. This project
seeks to reverse this trend by providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge, techniques and the revaluation of ancestral practices in a modern context.
The Symposium will bring together ceramists and artists from around the world in a unique meeting in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda. This event aims to preserve, revitalize and innovate ancestral
ceramic practices, fostering a cultural and technical exchange for the strengthening of a Research Center in Ceramics at the coffee region with a global vision.
