Coffee Tour

History

We have been a coffee growing family for more than 40 years.

In the past we sold only green coffee directly to the cooperatives. We had not been lucky enough to taste our coffee until 10 years ago. Since then we fell in love with our own production, with food sovereignty under good practices.

Today we have transformed a monoculture coffee plantation without shade into a forest full of trees and life.

We have also improved the production process giving a rate of over 86 points. A certified agroecological coffee.

Today we are an example that it is possible to produce coffee in controlled shade, that the agroecological model is possible and more profitable.

Activity.

• We will make a tour of the reserve and the coffee forest.
• We will enjoy the scenery and delve into everything that interests you.
• We will show you the history and agro-ecological processes.
• We will pick beans directly from the tree, make a selection and process the coffee.
• We will leave it in the fermentation and drying process.
• Then we will taste a delicious coffee.

Contribution.

• The tour lasts approximately 2:30 hours.
• Contribution per person: 80.000 Cop. each.
• Children up to 12 years old are free.
• From 13 to 16 have a contribution of 40.000 Cop.
• We have extra food service.
• Extra transportation service.
• Tour in Spanish, English and German.
